KAHINA A. / GOOGLE 5-Star REVIEW 2023

We had our family trip in Pahoa staying at an AirBnb and during one of our hikes, we walked past a sign for the Pualani Bee Honey so we decided to come back with our kids. She was a few houses down from us and welcomed the kids to check out how she makes the honey. Both our kids were firing off questions (10/11 yr old) and Barbara took the time to answer questions while letting us taste test each sample. The kids had a blast and both became new fans of honey, not only for the amazing taste but a new found appreciation for how it's harvested. My son went home to read up on honey farms. We ended up having 3 bottles shipped home since only had carry-on bags. Will post some photos later but wanted to write this review while it's all fresh in our heads! Worth a visit for sure if you are in the area :)

Incredible honeys! Barbara took the time to let us sample all of her amazing honeys when we stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon despite not being open. She also taught us a lot about the honey process as well. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

MATT B. / GOOGLE 5-Star REVIEW 2022

My partner and I had an incredible time at Pualani Bee Farm doing a honey tasting. Barbara was so gracious in walking us through the intricacies of beekeeping and what creates the unique flavor profiles of different types of honey. Without a doubt, it was simply the best honey we’ve ever had (we didn’t even think we liked honey that much!). We knew we had to scoop up enough to bring home to share with family and friends. The online shop is bookmarked for when we return!

The best honey ever! Wonderful taste (I tried 'Ohi'a Lehua and Tropical Wildflower, both Sommer 2020). I have to stop myself from eating it by the spoonful straight from the jar.

KAYE B./GOOGLE 5-Star REVIEW 2021

I really love all the honeys BTW!! I wanted to try the feral bee honey because it’s so rare and unusual. E. said that you removed the hive from someone's house and rescued the bees and their honey, etc. That’s a pretty cool story! I really like the complexity of it and the deep rich flavor is super nice. I am always interested in trying new things so that was a real treat.

Aloha and pleasant greetings! I just wanted to call you to tell you, we just tried some of your bee pollen that we picked up from The Locavore [Store], and, wow, it's phenomenal! It's really, really yummy; the best bee pollen I have ever tried in my entire life. Very good! And I just wanted to express my gratitude for the work you do working with the bees and creating such wonderful products. Thank you so much!

Best honey I've ever tasted by far, and I've tried lots. The local Orange Blossom and Wildflower honeys are good, and I've tried other honey from Hawaii, this is better! Especially the 'Ohi'a Lehua, I could eat the whole jar by the spoonful! Ordering more tomorrow!.

Wow! Thanks for the quick service. Love, love, love summer 2020 batch! Not sure I want to tell everyone how much I like it... I need to order more!!! Really enjoying this batch on EVERYTHING.

Put me on your list of subscribers to all--I'd like to "bee" a regular customer... The bee farm products arrived last weekend and are just beautiful. One can really see your artistry in them... I have been LOVING your honey. It is exquisite.

If you like honey - you're at the perfect place.  I'm a big honey fan and have had honey from all over the world. The Pualani Tropical Wildflower and Ohia Lehua are the best honey I've ever tasted. I honestly can't decide which one I like better (and luckily don't have to).  What I've done with the tropical wildflower -- dribbled on ice cream, yoghurt, and grapefruit, (and directly into my mouth - yum!); spooned into coffee and tea; spread on a brie, turkey, and mustard sandwich; and more! A beautiful rich caramel color, the flavor is layered and nuanced -- smooth, not too sweet (but sweet enough), and tastes like, well, a really really good summer. The Ohia Lehua is thicker and crunchy with bits of yummy crystallization. I admit - what I've done with that one? I just eat it straight out of the jar for a treat. Because really, it's that good. And guilt-free because Pualani honey is raw honey, which is soooo good for you. So win-win. I'm about to buy more as gifts. And, I look forward to trying the other honeys that Pualani offers. A little bit of Hawaii in Brooklyn, New York!
