We harvest these raw, unprocessed chunks of propolis from a specially designed grooved trap that allows for the extraction of cleaner surplus propolis. Placed under the outermost cover of our hives, the propolis traps encourage the bees to fill the open gaps with propolis. This sustainable method of extraction does not necessitate removing any substances from within the inhabited confines of the hive, thus leaving the hive propolis intact.
